I Had the Heart (Tuve el Corazón)

I Had the Heart (Tuve el Corazón) is an uplifting Argentine film about redemption and the transformative power of music. The story centers on Moti Cohen, a once-famous rock producer who discovered the hit band Las Panteras with their chart-topping song "Tuve el corazón" ("I Had the Heart") twenty years ago.

Now, Moti's life has taken a downturn - he's divorced and scraping by with odd jobs for his uncle. When his car breaks down on the outskirts of the city, he leaves it with Bartolo, a stuttering mechanic. While waiting for his car, Moti is unexpectedly approached by his former record label and asked to find a tango singer for an upcoming city festival.

In the most unlikely of places, Moti discovers that Bartolo is not just a mechanic - he’s a talented tango singer. Along with his stepfather, Bartolo forms a dynamic tango duo.

Sensing a second chance at success and with renewed hope, Moti dives headfirst into the vibrant world of tango, determined to reclaim his former glory and help Bartolo shine.
